A great opportunity exists for a software solutions sales executive with a global software vendor specialising in innovative solutions that allow organisations to navigate financial management and performance.  The successful candidate does not need to have extensive experience in software sales. This opportunity would be ideal for someone who has a couple of years' experience and is looking to develop and hone their business development skills, with the support of their team. The role is based in Northern Sydney and covers clients Australia-wide

As the Business Development Manager you will be highly results orientated with a strong drive to 'hunt' new business and develop long lasting business relationships. You will be responsible for driving and developing 'Greenfield' business opportunities and revenue.  The organisation is growing rapidly across the globe, so there is much to leverage locally with the global strategy. Cultivating and developing key relationships to generate new business, you will be responsible for delivering outcomes to the private sector across Australia.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Quota achievement of software licence revenue.
  • Build and maintain a defensible pipeline.
  • Software solutions sales and account planning
  • Presentation and demonstration of software solutions
  • Commercial management and negotiations of software licensing contracts.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Collaboration and coordination of technical and pre-sales resources.

Mandatory Skills & experience:

  • Understanding of Finance processes such as Accounts Payable
  • Some experience in selling cloud-based software well regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage technical resources / expertise and global resources / networks
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritise workload
